Who needs a porta potty for months?
Long-term porta potties serve home builds, farms and ranches, hunting leases, seasonal produce stands, cabins without plumbing, church campgrounds and businesses with too few bathrooms. Any site without plumbing that people use every week is a fit.
- Farms and ranches: OSHA 29 CFR 1928.110 calls for 1 toilet and 1 hand-washing facility per 20 field workers, within a quarter-mile walk.
- Hunting and lake land: one unit at camp, serviced weekly or every other week during the season.
- Seasonal stands: pumpkin patches, fireworks stands and produce stands for the season only.
Can a long-term unit be serviced less than weekly?
Light-use sites, like a hunting cabin used on weekends, can ask about a service visit every other week. Most sites stay on weekly service because it keeps the unit fresh and lets the crew check its condition. Heavy-use sites can add a second weekly visit.
What about winter on a long-term rental?
A long-term porta potty works through Oklahoma winters with winter tank treatment that keeps waste from freezing. Hand-washing stations and flushing units are paused or swapped on hard-freeze weeks. Set units out of the north wind and keep the path clear of ice for the service truck.

Questions renters ask
Is there a minimum rental length?
The minimum for a long-term rental is one 28-day cycle, which includes delivery, weekly service and pickup. Short events use the event rental instead, which is priced for the event.
Will I be charged automatically each cycle?
Each 28-day cycle is billed to the card or account on file until you call for pickup. You get an invoice for each cycle. Call a day or two before you want the unit gone.
Can I move the unit to a different spot later?
The unit can be moved on site during a service visit if the new spot is level and reachable. Ask ahead so the crew brings a dolly.
Can I end early without a penalty?
You can end a long-term rental any time without an early-termination fee. The current cycle is not refunded, and billing stops at pickup.
